KitchenAid was born in 1919, with an innovative food mixer invented by Ohio engineer, Herbert Johnson. Used by big names like Henry Ford, John Barrymore and Marion Davies, the KitchenAid food mixer hit record-setting sales around the world.

In 1936, Vanity Fair editor Egmont Arens went on to design three KitchenAid models, marrying style and cutting-edge technology. This timeless design has never really changed, until 1994 – when a whole-host of fun colours were added to the KitchenAid food mixer collection.
